Getting a car to campus

Campus transport is concentrated into a few predictable weeks: move-in in August and September, the winter break, and the end of the spring semester. Everyone moves at once, which tightens carrier availability on university routes at exactly the time everyone wants them.

Booking two to three weeks before move-in week is usually the difference between choosing your pickup date and accepting what is left. The same applies in reverse at the end of the year.

Delivery to a campus address is often the awkward part. University parking rules, permit zones and narrow service roads frequently rule out a full-size hauler, so a nearby retail lot is the practical answer. Agree it at booking rather than on arrival day.
